Place a sheet of paper on the floor and against a wall.
Make sure your child is wearing the same socks they would normally wear with this type of shoe.
Wearing those socks, have the child stand on the sheet of paper with heel against the wall and the foot perpendicular to the wall.
Use a pen to draw a line just in front of the longest toe. Repeat for both feat and take the longer distance to determine size.
Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find the size.
